Winter

Coming from a place where the temperature is warm most time of the year, and the winter is no longer  than 2 months of cold wind and rain, the winter in Cincinnati is not only a cold and long time of the year for me, it’s a challenging phase.

Recently I decided not to be dragged down by it anymore, and w/ lesson learned I’m aiming to find beauty among the circumstances. Maybe that was God’s plan all the way, to teach me patience… because the Spring is coming… and after that, SUMMER!!! Before, I need to walk through the ice. It’s just a phase, like in life, “we are not stuck” and that’s all that I want to ponder about winter. 

Welcome and Question...

My life has been a little chaotic for the last month. In the middle of stepping out from my position as the Worship Leader at Eastgate Community Church to seek where God is taking me next, getting another job to pay the bills, being married, and starting my photography hobby/business, I ended up delaying on blogging.

So let me breathe… and start over.

Welcome to my blog! I’m excited to be able to communicate and be “communicated” here on the internet. This space will be a free venue of art expressions. Basically I will post pictures, videos, ideas, and thoughts that recently arrived in my head and that I’m working on, and you will talk back to me w/ your opinion, and ideas, and thoughts about it. Make sense?

Cool, then here is the first:

I’m working on the images for this family that I love, Alex, Janaina, and now Isabella (the new addition).  I’m still developing my creative process, and what to present to people, so would you help me out letting me know which of these 2 images you like better and why? Nothing serious, black & white or color? I just want to know your opinion, and see what picture would be chosen by the majority. Deal?

First One

Bem-vindos!  Or as we say in English, Welcome!  You, among many, are about to witness the very first post of an up and coming photographer (my hubby, Gérson Lopes.)  He asked me to write the first blog, because he knows I love to talk. Yay!! 

G-Lo fotos specializes in a variety of custom lifestyle photography in the greater Cincinnati area (however, we LOVE I mean LOVE to travel and are open to working outside of our residence, particularly somewhere warm!) If you want a fun and upbeat photo shoot G-Lo fotos is the way to go. Gérson is very outgoing and will make you laugh the whole time, especially with his cute little Brazilian accent (of course I love it, but I know you will too.)
