Party Hearty Zumbathon - teaser

Few weeks ago I was invited to photograph a Zumba event that raised money to help fight heart disease. It was called Party Hearty Zumbathon.  I didn’t really know what Zumba was, let me tell you, it’s contagious. As a Brazilian I was excited to hear the mix of latin music (Salsa, Samba, Regatton, Merengue, etc)  danced as exercise w/ a lot of energy. Well, here is a teaser of that day.

Thank you all for the inputs about your favorite photo (blak & white or collor.) Color was the majority choice, I really appreciate your comments and help on this quest.

When I did this photo shoot Janaina,s mother, Miss Rosângela, was here visiting from Brazil. She came all the way to spend time w/ her first grandchild, Isabella, and they asked me to register their time together, I was happy to do it.

I have been friends w/ this family for years; they are my Brazilian family in The USA. Really, brothers, parents, aunts, cousins…they adopted me since I moved here, and I could not resist their love. Well, they DO know how to cook some delicious Brazilian cuisine, so my motives are a little bias when I want to visit them every week, every month :)

So I ended up doing their wedding pictures, maternity, and now baby. Here are my favorite shots of the Moreira family.
